Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of soaked (optional) oats.
- 1 cinnamon stick.
- 1 cup (250 ml) of water.
Recipe: Oat and cinnamon smoothie
The recipe is very simple.
- First, soak the oats in water for about 8 to 10 hours. This is optional, but it’ll make the drink easier to digest. Especially, for those who find it difficult to digest it raw.
- Then, when the oats are soft, we’ve to strain them, rinse them, put them in the blender along with the other ingredients (cinnamon and water) and process everything for a few seconds.
- Finally, serve and enjoy this delight.
To consider: When soaking the oats, you can add a few drops of lemon or vinegar (medium acid) into the water for a better effect.
