Recipe: Fig juice with milk or water
This is one of the easiest recipes out there.
- Start by removing the tips of the figs (their joints with the branches) with a knife and wash them.
- Then, blend the fruits together with a cup of water or milk for about 20 seconds or until smooth. To keep in mind: with water you’ll get a more liquid consistency, and with milk, a creamier one.
- Finally, pour the result into the cup.

Among its main benefits, the regular and moderate consumption of figs may:
- Relieve constipation and improve digestive health: Mainly due to its fiber (2.9 g per 100 g) and water (79%).
